Aluminum Pitot Tube (non-heated)
Tired of that flimsy aluminum tube hanging under your beautiful wing? About to build your wing and the thought of installing a 1\4 inch pipe where a proper pitot tube belongs just seems wrong to you? Evan's Aviation has listened, and is offering a beautiful, CNC machined aluminum pitot tube, complete with mounting bracket kit. The pitot tube is powder coated in the same Dove Grey as all Van's standard parts. It is intended for installation in your wings as you are building it. This kit comes complete with every thing you will need to install the pitot tube in your RV wing, from the mast right down to the rivits!

Static Port Kit
Van's standard static port is a simple pop rivet in the side of your fuselage attached to a hose with a glob of sealant. It works fine, but we thought we could do better. Our kit comes complete with 2 flush mount fittings to attach to your fuselage skin, air-tight push-on fittings that make installation a breeze, and all of the hose, zip ties, grommets and instructions you'll need to complete the entire static port system from the skin of the fuselage to the back of your instruments. Yes, it's more expensive than Van's kit (for cost, it's hard to beat two pop rivets and some plastic hose), but you receive top quality hardware and fittings that will make for a very professional installation.
The standard kit will feed static air to the back of your Airspeed Indicator, Altimeter and Vertical Speed Indicator. If you have additional needs for your individual application, please give us a call.
